We are working to formalize this organization into a 501(3)c. Once that  process is complete, we will begin offering memberships at various  levels to the Health Humanities Consortium.

Dues will support the hosting institution for spring conferences; conference registration for students; and awards for student conference presentation

  • Full Member
    • Pays annual (January 1-December 31) dues of $100
    • Members get a reduced registration rate for the annual meeting
    • Receive reduced on-line subscription rate for Journal of Medical Humanities)
    • Invitation to attend annual general membership business meeting
    • Members have a voting rights on issues presented before the membership
    • Members can serve on the Steering Committee
    • Encouraged to give gift memberships for those who need assistance
      • $100 for members
      • $25 for students, residents, fellows, and postdocs
  • Affiliate Member
    • Registers with the HHC
    • Does not pay annual dues
    • Invitation to attend annual general membership business meeting
    • May attend annual meeting
  • Non-Member
    • A person who attends or presents at the annual meeting
    • Does not register, does not pay dues
    • Receives no benefits, voting rights, discounts; cannot attend business meeting
  • Institutional Member
    • $1000 for partnership
    • Partners receive two complementary memberships at annual meeting
      • 1 for a faculty member
      • 1 for a student
    • Partners are listed as such on the HHC website)
